Translated as "Good Jesus of the Mount," this site is a significant pilgrimage destination, distinguished by its monumental Baroque stairway ascending 116 meters (381 feet). It stands as a prominent tourist attraction in Braga.Recognizing its cultural and historical significance, the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte in Braga was officially inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site on July 7, 2019.
